The negative effects of electromagnetic radiation are becoming widely known throughout the western world. Exposure to the radiation of X-rays, ultraviolet rays and even power lines are proven to be hazardous to our health (Hale, 1999, p.66).

For this reason Feng Shui encourages common sense in regards to electrostress.

- Electric blankets should be turned off before the occupant gets into bed. Preferably unplugged from the electrical socket.

- Keep all electrical appliances away from the bed.

- Do not have wiring under the bed.

- Stand away from a Microwave oven when it is on.
